First Day of School 2020-2021

August 19, 2020 in Blog - boundbythebook

Tomorrow is our first day of school for 2020-2021. We’re in a forced remote until at least Labor Day (which also happens to be my birthday!) πŸŽ‰πŸŽ

My amazing paras and I have spent the last two weeks gutting my classroom and working on organizing all our cabinets, inventorying, and labeling EVERYTHING! My heart is so happy! The rest of our time has been spent on making the room more welcoming and calm (which I purposely chose nature-y aesthetics as it inherently promotes calm.)🌈🌿

I’m still nervous and don’t have all the answers as to what these next two weeks are going to look like but I’m excited to begin another year. I’ve missed our kids so much. They ARE my life. πŸ₯°πŸ§©

I truly wish all my fellow teacher bookstagrammers a happy school year! πŸ’•
