🐾Reading with Pets🐾

October 25, 2020 in Blog - boundbythebook

#qotd Do you have any pets?

#aotd I have a cat named Dougie (he’s 8ish) and a two year old Australian Cattle Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix named Calli (Callisto). 🐱🐶

Do you get to enjoy your books or do your pets have other plans? It’s almost as if mine see the book in my hand and take bets on who can make me put it down first. 😂

There are some truly sweet bookstagrams that feature pets and I’m all about it, like:
@golden_genre
@twodogsandabook
@readingwithbeans
@haleyhoardsbooks
@andrea.c.lowry.reads
@antipodeanbookclub
@books.cats.travel.food
@treatyoshelvess
*tag your favs in comments*

What you see is the aftermath. 🔥
•Toy explosions
•successful and unsuccessful attempts to get me to play tug or catch
•holes in my blanket from Doug trying to get comfy in my lap

I wouldn’t trade either Dougie nor Calli for anything in the world. Dog & cat momming is hard—I can’t imagine humans. 😂

Shoutout to @bark for the best toys! @barkbox has been totally worth it. 👌
